Samples

The following images were taken with the Sony FE 24-70mm f2.8 GM lens mounted on a 42MP Sony A7R II camera.

The first set of the images below are JPEGs out-of-camera. The A7R II was set to its best quality Large Fine mode, capturing 42 Megapixel images with Fine compression; in most of the portrait shots I was using AFC with Eye Detection. In each case I used Auto White Balance and the standard Photo style. Body-based stabilisation was enabled for handheld shots and disabled for tripod-based shots.

The second set of images are RAW files developed in Lightroom 9.2/CRAW 12.2 to Adobe Color profile, built-in lens profile, Noise Reduction=OFF, sharpening=50/0.5/36/10. I only did the occasional exposure compensation in post-processing.

The individual exposure details are available for each image. All of the images are available to download in their original formats for analysis at Flickr.
